We have been exploring ways to freshen up the look and feel of the On.Board platform for some time. On the 10th of June we deployed a number of user interface changes that are aimed at giving On.Board a more contemporary look, without affecting users’ behaviour.
We really appreciate all the feedback we have received so far – most of these changes were inspired by ideas that came from our user community!
Below is a summary of changes that were made. To see these changes in action, please log into your On.Board program.
- We updated On.Board’s in-built font type in order to freshen up the look and feel of the platform. Text size will be increased in ‘Briefing’, ‘Latest Updates’ and all text input areas (e.g. comments, form fields, social discussions).
- The icon on the toolbar will now be highlighted to indicate the page the user is currently on, thus making navigation a bit smoother and more intuitive for the user.
- Headings for the ‘Briefing’, ‘Next Activities’ and ‘Sections’ are now rounded at the end and dynamically change their size depending on the length of the header to make them feel less “boxy”.
- The outer edges of the ‘Latest Updates’, ‘Legend’, ‘Progress’, comments and text input areas now have slightly rounded edges. Research shows that rounded elements are often perceived as less aggressive and more contemporary.
- To be consistent with other rounded elements, we’ve redesigned our action buttons. Action buttons will now be oval in shape and have a shadow effect to make them stand out more.
- We have also made minor changes to the look of dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons, scroll-bars and the program selection page.
We hope that your teams enjoy the changes we have made and that it enhances their experience using On.Board. As always, we welcome your and your team’s feedback on any aspect of the platform, please feel free to share your thoughts via onboardhelpdesk@prosell.com or with anyone in our team.
Similarly, please contact us if you require additional information about these changes.
Many thanks
